Internship Description: As a Social Media Management Intern, you will play a vital role in shaping the online presence and brand identity of our artists. Working closely with our company’s co-founder and social media manager, you'll have the opportunity to create captivating and timely content, engage with our audience, and stay abreast of current social media trends and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Develop and curate compelling social media content, including posts, stories, and multimedia assets, that resonate with our audience and promote our artists effectively.
  2. Platform Management: Manage and maintain our artists' social media accounts across various platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  3. Audience Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our followers and our artists’ followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and cultivate a sense of community around our own as well as our artists' brands.
  4. Trend Identification: Stay up-to-date with current and emerging social media trends, tools, and features. Identify opportunities for innovation and adaptation within our social media strategy.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content strategy for maximum engagement and reach.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with our PR and marketing teams to align social media efforts with broader promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  7. Competency in Tools: Utilize social media management tools and software (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva) proficiently to create and schedule posts, analyze data, and streamline workflow processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for music and a deep understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and creative content.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging social media trends, features, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and software (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva) is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
